At SoundBoard Space, the mission is simple:
To create a safe, non-judgmental space where everyday people can feel heard, supported, and lighter—without needing to justify, explain, or edit who they are.
We exist to make talking easier—whether you're sorting through stress, untangling thoughts, or just need a moment of human connection.
We believe that support should be
accessible, non-clinical, and stigma-free.
You don’t need to be “broken” to need a break. And you don’t have to be in crisis to want someone who listens.
We’re here for the in-between moments. The ones that often get brushed aside but sit heavy anyway.
This space is for you—just as you are.
Whether you’re overwhelmed, stuck, or simply need to say things out loud—SoundBoard Space offers private, non-clinical listening sessions for adults who want to feel heard and supported.
You choose what works for you:

Sometimes we just need a little nudge to get out of our own head.

No pressure. No fixing. Just a place to start.

I created SoundBoard Space because I believe everyone deserves a place to be heard—without being fixed, labelled, or judged.
Sometimes, you don’t need advice or a diagnosis. You just need someone to listen. Really listen.
This space was born from that simple truth: that a genuine, human conversation can be powerful. That saying something out loud—without pressure—can shift the weight you’re carrying.
I’m not here to analyse you. I’m here to hold space. To help you feel less alone in whatever you’re working through.
If that sounds like something you’ve been needing, this space is here for you—just as you are.
Warmly,
Abigail
Common questions answered.
A listening session is a one-on-one space where you can talk through whatever’s on your mind—without judgment, advice, or diagnosis. I’m here to listen with care and presence, whether you’re sorting through a challenge, venting, or just needing to feel heard. It’s your space, your pace.
If you’re open to it, I can also offer gentle guidance, reflections, or practical support during the session—based on what you’re sharing. Nothing is forced, and there’s no coaching program or advice you didn’t ask for. It’s always about what you need in the moment.
No. SoundBoard Space is not a therapy or medical service. I’m not a psychologist or counsellor, and I don’t diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
What I offer is a supportive, one-on-one space where you can speak freely and feel heard. If you're open to it, I can also offer thoughtful reflections or practical support during the session—always based on what you’re comfortable with.
Everything shared is confidential, and your privacy is respected at all times.
If you're in crisis or need clinical support, I encourage you to connect with a licensed mental health professional or crisis service in your area.
Anyone aged 18 and over. It doesn’t matter what you do, where you’re from, or how “put together” you look on the outside—everyone needs space to be heard.
People use SoundBoard Space for all kinds of reasons: to unpack stress, talk through life changes, or just get thoughts out of their head. Clients come from all walks of life—carers, creatives, parents, students, business owners, healthcare workers, first responders, teachers, FIFO workers, and more.
This is also a space for people in high-pressure roles—who often carry a lot and can’t always talk about it through formal channels. You can speak freely here without fear of judgment, reporting, or red tape. This space is private, confidential, and grounded in trust.
Yes—you can book as many as you need, whenever you need them. There’s no lock-in, no ongoing plan unless you want one. Some people book once, others check in regularly. You’re in control of your space and your schedule.
Not at all. While I do ask for your full name when booking, how we connect is up to you. You can choose video, voice, or chat—whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
Your privacy is always respected, and our sessions are confidential. You don’t have to explain why you prefer a certain format. This space is about meeting you where you're at.
That’s completely okay. You don’t need to have anything figured out before we start. You can show up unsure, stuck, emotional—or even quiet. We go at your pace, and I’ll hold the space until the words come (or even if they don’t).
There’s no pressure to prepare. But if there’s something specific you’d like to talk about, you’ll have the option to note that during booking. It’s totally optional, but it can help me understand what you might want to unpack.
